Margot is currently writing freelance for Lifetime Television online http://www.lifetimetv.com.

Margot's five part series From Behind the Bar written for the popular comedy website The Apiary quickly became a comedy cult classic and recieved rave reviews and mention on such websites as Gawker and Comedy Central Insider. The Comedy Central Insider called From Behind the Bar a fascinating backstage report from the epicenter of the always-blowing-up NY comedy scene.

Additionally, Margot has written for the uber-popular website CollegeHumor.com as well as Hellohilarious.com.


BOOKS:

Margot was a contributing author to the book, The Complete Idiot's Guide to Jokes (Alpha/Penguin) and appears in the book, Fifty Dates Worse Than Yours (Bloomsbury).


MAGAZINES:

Margot's writing has appeared in the dating column for Playgirl magazine.


THEATRE:

Margot wrote the hit long running solo show Just Here For the Day had a six month run at the Upright Citizen's Brigade Theatre (appearing at both the NYC and Los Angeles theatres). NY Press said This thoughtful, fast-paced show superbly showcases Leitman's playful, comedic sensibility. and Los Angeles Citybeat said shes funny! Behold a personal journey that just might slay you silly!

Margot also co-wrote the comedic one act play Slow Night with Sarah Burns, which was a New York Magazine off-off Broadway pick and an AM New York Must See.
